Rosehip Seed Oil Manufacturers
Rosehip seed oil is harvested from the seeds of a unique
variety of roses called “Rosa Moschata” that are specifically found in Chile.
The oil is known to contain an excellent combination of vitamins, antioxidants
and essential fatty acids that reduce the dark spots and hydrate dry and itchy
skin. The oil can be made by the cold
press or by slow cooking. Since it is cold pressed, it isn’t altered by heat
and retains most of the nutrients which give amazing benefits, some of which
are:
Skin benefits
1. Moisturizer for
dry skin: It contains omega3 and omega6, which are great for dry skin. A
regular application of rosehip oil helps to rehydrate and nourish the dry,
cracked skin especially knees, cracked lips, elbows, and heels.
2. Anti-aging tool:
The oil improves the elasticity, tone, and texture of the skin and thus
reverses the appearance of premature signs of aging. Also, it diminishes the
fine lines, wrinkles and brown spots.
3. Acne and Hyper
Pigmentation: The oil contains anti-microbial qualities which stave off
acne-causing bacteria. It provides anti-inflammatory properties, so using it on
the acne-prone skin can reduce the cause of acne. But applying it directly on
the active bout of acne may irritate.
Hair benefits
1. Anti-dandruff: A
regular use of the oil results in reduced dandruff and lesser scalp itchiness.
Some of the studies even show that it can revive chemically treated hair.
2. Brings shine to
hair: This oil is the next coconut oil. It helps to moisturize the hair and
brings shine to it. It is also known to nourish damaged and brittle hair too.
The application is also simple; one has to apply a few drops of warm oil on the
scalp before going to bed or apply it 1-2 hours before hair wash.
3. Post-wash serum:
It also works as a very good hair serum. For a post-wash plasma, one has only
to take a few drops of the oil and apply it along the length of the hair while
it is damp. Not only this, but it also combats the frizziness in high humidity
conditions.
It must be kept in mind that few possible side effects are
always there which include rashes, watery and itchy eyes, dizziness, difficulty
in breathing and chest discomfort. A trial must be done before taking it into
skin regimen.
